Why are you reporting garbage that cant be proven and allowing people to trash Auburn? Where is the proof? You are the biggest bunch of lying muckrakers I have ever seen. I am considering canceling my HBO service because of this. DO YOUR REPORTING-- these 4 are all disgruntled players out to bash Auburn-- tell me why the more talented, famous players wont confirm this? You went after Auburn because of Cam Newton and the National Championship-- you are making "contoversy hay( instead of political) while the sun shines" I hope Auburn sues the living crap out of you -- This entire season- people get to say anything they want, with no proof. It is not right, it is not journalism and you ought to be ashamed. If you dont air the other people denouncing this gang of 4 and give it another side, you are all a bunch of lying jerks.

As an Auburn graduate, I deeply resent your so called "expose" on Auburn athletes. If you really cared about being honest, you would have presented BOTH sides to this issue. Many, many better players who have no axe to grind would have told you that no players were paid at Auburn, but no, you chose to present only one side. I will be cancelling my subscription to HBO and will advise all my Auburn friends to do so as well until you follow up with a fair and objective side to this story. I hope Auburn files suit for slander since you didn't present proof or both sides. It's alsomy objective to contact the Auburn club members nationwide and ask that they do the same. Hitting the pocketbooks may lead to honesty and fairness.

It's time for some payback.  Not updyke payback; we don't need to sink to that sorry level. But payback as in ensuring maximum attention for the slightest whiff of violation.

And that goes for more than uat, imo.

Since the whole Cam hysteria I've contemplated creating an online clearinghouse dedicated to NCAA violations and athletic program scandals.

The media like to snoop on boards, but they chalk up a lot of the talk on them to just to rivalry chatter (and a fair amount is).

However, if there was ONE site purely devoted to violations and scandals--a TMZ for college athletics--it might become harder to ignore uat's and everyone else's shenanigans.

I'm not talking about rumor and innuendo. I'm talking about actual evidence. It would be hard to come by at first, but if the site could build a decent enough reputation, the stories would come.

I don't know all the ins and outs of running such a site yet. I probably don't have all the resources to pull it off.

But after all this, if they all want to bring us down, I'd be more than happy to help take all of them down with us.

not sure what their logic was on that one ... wait ! what logic ? they have none
