Actually for some reason pet names have never really developed for us in the 7 years we have been married. He just go by the old standby of "honey" or "sweetheart". Sometimes I call her "babe". (No Styx references, please!!!  Tongue)

My husband and I have companion nicknames...Mar-bear and Er-bear.  Don't judge.  He likes to sing a lot and we make up songs all the time.  One of the nonsense songs is called "Hot Sexy _ _" (insert nickname of choice).  When we were newlyweds I made his birthday cake and wrote "Happy Birthday Hot Sexy" which was completely a JOKE and not a serious come-on. He showed it to his mother without realizing what was actually written on it.   Embarrassed Aw-kward!
