Jersey wearing protocol...

Major league baseball is upon us and I have one question:  Is it ok to wear my Lance Berkman Astros jersey still?  I was ok when he was traded to the Yankees because I felt he was coming back, but now he is with the Cardinals and I really hate them.  I'm torn...I really like Lance Berkman but THE CARDINALS??? 

Anyway, what's the protocol for this type of thing?  It's not like college where they just graduate.

I think you do what you want and not let anyone tell you different. Berkman obviously contributed to the Astros for many years, and even though he is with Cards now, he still is a part of Astros history. Now, I wouldn't wear it when Houston plays St. Louis .....

I have no idea who Lance is.  I wouldn't know he wasn't with the Astros unless you told me so just hang around less knowledgeable sports ppl when you wear it.

Kind of impossible for me since my husband is the biggest baseball nerd I've ever met...he's upstairs watching MLB network as I type I think my solution will be steal one of HIS jerseys with nothing on the back or ask for a new one at our first game of the year..he is a sucker for me showing an interest in his sport.  I really miss my Berkman, though!  I think it is time to give up hope that he is coming back to methe Astros.

Steal one of his and maybe he'll get the hint and buy you a new one.

Never heard that but they can take ANOTHER NFL team from us as far as I am concerned!
