Amazing stuff, thanks for posting.

On another note.  Boston.com is a great place to surf and look at pictures any time, not just of recent tragedies.

Unbelievable pictures.  Yet there is no looting, no complaining as people stand in long lines for water, stores are REDUCING prices of goods and vendors are giving away items in vending machines.  What a measure of the strength of the people of Japan.  I fear our own country would not come close to measuring up.  I am truly amazed at these people.

Incredible images.  And yet very difficult to look at.  Like knowing a train wreck is about to happen, you shouldn't look.  But you do.

Kupkake, great post.  An obvious:   Applause E-Cred

Ever heard of a little event called "Hurricane Katrina?"  We (people of NO) DIDN'T measure up...

Those images are unbelievable and a reminder of just how fragile life can be.  They make me thankful for my health, family and home.  God bless Japan!

It is hard to imagine what they are going through. Japan needs to be in all our prayers.

I don't see any reason why they couldn't, although it is pretty unlikely.  There are fault lines around the Caribbean if I'm not mistaken.  All it takes is a well placed earthquake somewhere around the gulf to trigger it.

Of course I'm just guessing.  But it seems like a remote possibility to me.  ssmith would probably know for sure.
