The Pouncey's originally committed to FSU and claimed to be lifelong FSU fans. Shortly thereafter they flipped their commitment. This also occurred with Percy Harvin, yet he never committed to FSU, just proclaimed to be a lifelong FSU fan. It wasn't until after college in an interview with the Pouncey's did this came out and they admitted all of the Lifelong FSU fan stuff was garbage, and they were all lifelong Florida fans, including Harvin. Myer claims he was being truthful, but it appears Myer was stressing that the NCAA punishment would not be severe. I can see OSU running a similar offense to what Meyer ran at Florida, although I suspect Meyer will try recruiting larger RBs to play in the Big10. Some folks say that one player doesn't make a team, but in those two cases Tebow and Newton made a huge difference for their teams.
