I heard he tore his pec and will miss entire season... I am hoping you are right on this one.

Not funny

Not an attempt at humor. Like I said, hope it is merely a two week recovery.

The more I am reading, it sounds like reports are two weeks from people that might know (bamaonline mods, TI), but rumors are that it's torn, which would put him out for the season.

Normally, a pec "injury" means tear, let's really hope this is not the case. Wow, this could be a game changer.

If he is out, then how would RB line up? I think it would be:

Trent Richardson
Jalston Fowler
Brent Callaway

Who else might be in the mix, a walk-on?   Huh?

Lil' medical lesson for you. A tear, a stretch, a pull, are all the same thing. Just diffent names. It is the degree to wicth he tore it that we will be concerned about.

BTW while we are on the subject, a fractured bone, and a broken bone....same thing also.

This is the same injury that Baron had in the Iron Bowl.  A one armed man should not  be in the game playing safety, but that is another story.  He was out for the bowl game if I recall correctly, so it seems plausible that Lacy could be out for the season.  I guess it just depends on how severe it is.  Hopefully he will be back soon.  We still have 37 days to go, so maybe he can be back in time for the meat of the SEC schedule.

WOW. Just unbelievable. We went front 6 or 7 running backs last spring to 2 or 3. Puts more pressure on the new QBs to make plays happen.

Hold on everybody, if anyone can carry the ball 30 times a game it is Trent Richardson. I would not want any other player carrying the ball. Our Oline will kick butt this year.

 Cool

All the more reason to rue the loss of Dee Hart for the season. We are not THAT deep at RB anymore. Imagine what the loss of BATR would mean to the 2011 season. Remember that we have yet to establish any passing game, whatsoever. Sorry to bring that up but...

Agreed. Lets just hope the injury, doesn't match that of Mark Barron's. Hopefully...CNS or the University will have more info comin up soon...
