Quote
WR Amari Cooper

-- Stats: 124 catches, 1,727 yards, 28 TDs, 87 long

-- Who's next: This is a complicated answer with so many receivers graduating too. Alabama will have to replace 73 percent of its receiving yardage from 2014. The returning receiver is Chris Black, who had 15 catches and 188 yards in a reserve role. At 5-11, he's more of an H-receiver instead of the X Cooper played.

Bigger targets like Cam Sims (6-4) and Robert Foster (6-3) would be a more ideal replacement for the 6-1 Cooper. Also look for more from ArDarius Stewart and Raheem Falkins coming back in the fall. Spring will be an interesting time for the regrouping Alabama receivers.

As of right now, none of the incoming receivers have enrolled, but there's reportedly still a chance five-star Calvin Ridley could qualify in time. Regardless, he'll have a shot to compete in August.

Pretty good article, and worthy read.

Not too worried about losing Collins, I think we have some real talent lined up behind him, same goes for Yeldon, even though he is a special player. Cooper may be irreplaceable since he is such a great talent. I think Ardarius Stewart & Cam Sims could be excellent receivers.

Julio Jones was "irreplaceable" and then came Cooper.  Cooper is now being called irreplaceable but someone else will step in and take his place.  Might not be this year or even next.  He may not even put up the numbers that Cooper did but we will have another star out there eventually

Good points.

The real key to success in college football is having 2 quality WRs.  No way to double cover them both.

Bingo! We have to throw to more than one guy on a regular basis.
