Finebaum speculated this afternoon that Gov. Bentley was getting a lot of heat for reappointing him to the BOT. Bentley got the word to Lowder that he could withdraw his name or Bentley would do it for him. That sounds about right to me.

Yeah, but this was still a nice punch in the nose. Plus, if they chose the BOT carefully, the BOT will owe NOTHING to Lowder. I think most folks know Lowder is like a slowly sinking ship, he's going down.
