I met Brock Bennet's high school coach last night. This guy has a great story. He was not big enough or good enough to attract any college coach's interest. He came to Bama as a walk on to be the bull pen catcher. Nobody gave him much of a chance to succeed. Because of his great work ethic and his never-say-quit attitude he has developed himself into a top rung SEC catcher who leads the team in hitting with a .380 average.
This is a great story about a fine young man.
I remember this story from last year. CMG said when he got to Alabama he could not hit the ball out of the infield. They say he is the hardest worker on the team.
