Saban is not perfect, nor does anyone here "worship" him to my knowledge.  But when it comes to winning national championships in football, he most certainly does know "best".

Kind of reminds me of parenting.  You can get onto your kids, but you get upset when someone else does.

Pretty much what is going on.   

Coach might have personal experience on this one? 

The fans have high expectations, but Saban set the standard, yelling at players for performance issues when the team is up by 24 points and there are 42 seconds left.  So yes, fans should be happy with a win, but it is hard for some not to adopt the personality or style of their coach.
