I got fooled on this one. When he referenced his choice would be where he would get the best coaching I figured it was a done deal. I wish him luck with his career but I think he has made a bad choice and only time will tell.

If he wants to play for championships and develop into a NFL player he made a bad choice. If he wants to play football while getting a good education and stay close to his family and friends he made a good choice. It is his decision I hope it works out for him.

I guess since we were recruiting him, we must have thought he was pretty good.
There was not a consensus amoung recruiting services about this rating.  247 was the only service to rate him as a 5 star.  ESPN had him as a 4 star, but not in their  top 300.  Rivals had him as a 3 star.

Bama was looking for another big strong man to play the middle(Cody and Williams) and Elam was the best of the crop for that position per the analyst.

J, our buddy Gil from Louisville said that he's glad we didn't get him. The word up there is that he is too slow and struggles with technique. Not the first I've heard that.

Hmmm, sounds like he might have some coagulation between the ears. Wink
Tell Gil I said hello and you need to get him down here and maybe we can hook up for a round of golf. Only when it warms up though. Undecided

Hey, mister.  You work on the pompano; we'll handle the snow.
BTW, Sunday night we're in for 1-3 inches.  Until then, it's gun-show time.

I'm a multi-tasker, I can handle it all.  Cool

Good luck with the snow. What a winter, eh?
