I'm being a lazy bum and sleeping in on my semi-vacation. Besides, it's 49 degrees and too cold to do anything right now. It warmed up a little yesterday, so I went and played golf with one of my old golfing buddies. I shot a 53 on the front and a 41 on the back. Yessir, Mr. Consistency here.  Stars

Glad the Braves won. Chech, enjoy the baseball game. Apparently, Ole Miss has a team this year.

Well looking forward to this day getting behind me. I twisted a muscle in my joint between my thigh and side right in the joint. I picked up a piece 1/2" flat bar steel and it did it. I hope all of you have a Blessed day and all is well. RTR!

Preacher, when are you going to learn that there are certain things you just can't do anymore?  I can sprain my ankle getting out of bed, these days.

Preacher, I have tons and tons of admiration and appreciation for you especially for the service to our country that you did.  However, when I read where you were jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and helicopters it makes me wonder just how many floors your elevator don't reach... If you know what I mean...  Wink

Well, the weather was great at the baseball game.  We sat in the club seats, and had great catered food.  We sat and had ice cream after lunch.

But the game sucked.  Ole Miss never showed up.  They played their lesser players and lost 10-6.  I hate to see teams play below their potential.  At least North Alabama can cheer their victory; they enjoyed it.

I need a nap.

Well NALT you are somewhat right. I just wish the VA would give me my Claim that they closed after 10 years the first time and now it has been going again through my lawyer for about 4 years. So I guess God will do what he wants to.
One thing for sure I never forgot that indians name you know: JERONIMO! RTR!

Well, so much for some down time this week, at least today. I worked as much, if not more, than when I'm in Greenville.

Good day!  Coffee

Yesterday is done, and today holds great promise for fishing and other outdoor fun.  No work for 2; golfballing awaits.  I'm trying to decide between fishing for white bass or black bass.  You?

LF and I went to an academic event last night.  We met with David Sibley, who is the preeminent bird illustrator and most-honored birder of this generation.  His original sketches and plates (from the books) are on display at the Ole Miss Museum.  Fun outing.

You're right, Chech. Golf it will have to be today since it will rain tomorrow, Friday into Saturday. Good luck with the fishing!

Good morning to all.  My car display showed as low as 36 degrees on my morning commute.  I'm predicting this will be the last time we see the 30s late October/early November.
