Refs want to hit pause on up-tempo play Post by: pmull on August 26, 2014, 02:31:35 PM The NCAA Ref's have taken it upon themselves to dictate the pace of the game and not let the offense dictate pace. I think this is what CNS wanted. I did not like the 10 sec rule but if the ref's enforce this rule correctly it will benefit the defense. Letting the offense dictate the pace was a huge advantage. Get ready for the barners to complain.

Thanks for the post pmull, I feel better already but I'm anxious to see what is considered a normal pace of play. Title: Re: Slow down! And I'll guess that it won't be uniform from conf to conf. If it slows the HUNH even a little bit that would be good.
