Phillip Sims has big role for Alabama as backup

Phillip Sims’ role on Alabama’s football team isn’t any less crucial after AJ McCarron’s impressive performance in the Penn State game.

In fact, Alabama coach Nick Saban said this week that keeping the redshirt freshman’s attitude positive is “very, very important.”

“I think that every player needs to know that it’s probably more difficult when you didn’t start the game to be prepared to play as it is for the guy that knows he’s going to go out there and play,” Saban said earlier this week.

He's definitely got a ton of talent. My bet is that CNS will have him in every chance he gets.
