Title: War Eagle Smashes Into Luxury Box - really

Apparently the eagle is okay, but it smashed into the glass of a luxury box (as you can see on the video).

Do you think Updyke had anything to do with it?  :)

Dumb bird. It ought to fly with its eyes open.

Actually, that's a common problem for birds. They don't "see" the clear glass and smash into it, usually resulting in them breaking their neck and dying. I like eagles, so I'm glad he's okay.

I heard a bird caught in my sunroom the other day flying into the glass all around.  I was able to save him by "shooing" him in the direction of the door.

It's hard to navigate when you have a lucky horseshoe constantly falling out of your azz.

Yep, me too.

There was a hummingbird in my garage today.  I shooed it, but they don't shoo well.  It finally found its way out.

*** IMPORTANT learning moment.  Hummingbirds are often attracted to the red handles on garage-door releases (the handle on the cord that hangs down).  Paint the handle black and the hummers will stop entering.  Unfortunately, today they seemed to like my car tail lights.  Lots of them around now.

So let me get this straight, you shoo too?

Birds, not snakes.
BTW, since it's dove season I should add that I shoot birds too.

You do know that it takes more to "shoo" a snake than a bird? :chest expanded:
