Title: This Explains Why QB Pryor is Leaving Ohio State
Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 07, 2011, 10:00:05 PM
Boy, it just keeps getting worse and worse for Ohio State. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for them. I still think this is the tip of the iceberg.

QUOTE

Terrelle Pryor, who announced through his attorney Tuesday that he would bypass his senior season at Ohio State, made thousands of dollars autographing memorabilia in 2009-10, a former friend who says he witnessed the transactions has told "Outside the Lines."

20-40 grand? He certainly has no reason to lie now, since the NCAA cannot touch him

Well, at least we now know he bought all those cars so he didn't violate NCAA rules about cars.   :o

He still got them for nothing, this money was his gas money for the cars.  :D

It would appear that last year was the year of the cash-grabbing dual-threat QB's that will lead to their school's demise.

College football is going through a huge transition, camparing it to the way it has been in past years and to the way it is heading. These young ateletes are learning an early lesson on how to be demanding and greedy by using these so called agents to represent them while in high school. ESPN and the other sports networks and media only add fuel to the fire.

Somebody better get a grip on this because the future of college sports is headed for big trouble.

It is certainly getting more widespread for sure. Look at all the schools the NCAA is currently looking into. More than ever before.

Well, to start with, colleges are recruiting these kids at such an early age, this only sets the stage for the kids. NSD is one of the main culprits of fueling this big fire, the agents that shop them around just love it, that's where the price tag is established.
