On Bamas last series I still feel that if you have a first down on the seven and put Williams in front of Lacey and run it four times if necessary they will score 9 out of 10 times even if the defense knows what is coming.

I thought the play calling was off all game. Either TAM was picking up a tell or they sure as h*** guessed right on a lot of plays. But mostly Bama never established a rhythm on offense and the OL never dominated the LOS like they should. And I agree with those who say Bama should have run the ball with first and goal at the six, 2+ minutes on the clock, and 2 timeouts. At the very least, run it on 1st down! I thought a QB draw would have been wide open in that situation.

I don't know if it was off all game.  If AJ hits those 3 passes he missed, maybe the rythum is better in the game.  I do like the ideas of lining up almost foot to foot on the last series with Williams in the backfield.  It would have been great for playaction, in my opinion.

I'm just miserable over this loss.  Agree with everything said earlier about the offense, runs, jumbo package, etc.  BUT we were down 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.  Admittedly we got better in the second half but we were mentally flat for three quarters (hangover from LSU?) and were not sharp on execution.  JMHO

the main thing i can't get over is in the first half, how in the heck does the D not know what is coming?

Why are the DL getting so up field out of position? and like HScoach said why are we pressing more? those 20 points is what did it. It dont matter the rest of the game if Bama dont give up 20 points on three straight A&M possesions.

One play, may have been the second half not sure, it was 3rd down and Hubbard runs straight up the field past JM and we lose outside contian, of course he runs for a first down....I just dont see how they are not thinking about this.

Lacy said in an interview that the team did not practice right last week, and that the team has to get refocused.

I just hope they all get back into it, this things not over, and I want Bama to kill UGA in ATL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The part that really stands out too me is why didn't they press.  I know Saban is not a real press type guy, as I have mentioned many times in notes past.  However, LSU and UF showed the press hurt them.  Why not start out with the press and then if it doesn't work change it.
