Sorry for your loss, Preacher. Tragic situation involving your friends.

I had a very pleasant day yesterday. Shot a 76 playing golfball, with a 34 on the back nine. First time in my life that I've shot below par for a nine.

Then I watched the Braves.....

LF and I went to dinner at a friend's house last night.  Fun time.  We ate waaaaay too much, then played ping pong.  Been a while since I played; bifocals make it an all-new game!
 

Glad you were able to attend the funeral, Preacher.  Sad story.

I wouldn't know anything about eating waaaay too much. 

Fixing to go play golfball again this morning. I just hope I can catch a little bit of yesterday's magic.

Fixing to go play golfball again this morning. I just hope I can catch a little bit of yesterday's magic. 

It's easy enough.  Stay in the fairway on drives, land near the hole with irons, and putt into the golfball hole.

It's only taken me 34 years of playing golfball to figure that out. 

Similarly, it's taken me 35 years of marriage (TODAY!!) to figure out that my opinion is secondary!

I was just being polite, Preacher.   

The hostess served us each samples of 7 different types of fancy sausages, stuffed mushrooms, two types of salads/casseroles, and cake.  OMG, good vittles.

Shot an 84 today. Played the members' course which is much tougher than the public course, so I'm happy. Kind of floundered around bogey golf most of the day, but finished -1 over the last 5 holes to finish well. Now, if the Braves can make amends ........
