I got back from vacation last night. We had a great trip to Biloxi for one night and 4 nights in Destin/Fort Walton.

We left Biloxi with more money than we came with. How rare is that? My uncle who lives in Gulfport set us up at the Palace Casino with a comp room and meals. I hit a couple of decent payoffs on the slots that keep my oldest daughter and wife in business. They were losing about as fast as I could win. I went to bed Saturday $30.00 up. I lost that before breakfast on Sunday and quit. My youngest daughter won $218.00. She was up $400 at one time.

Sunday we went Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton. Great weather and the water was perfect. It was emerald green and no seaweed. The water was calm with a green flag each day which was good was laying out on a float with a cold beer. Seafood everyday.

Great trip. I can not wait to go back.

Congrats on a great week, pmull. My night in Biloxi was just the opposite. My daughter got us rooms for $60. Mrs 2 was the big winner and I was the loser. We broke about even for the night. Had a great time, though.

I am not a big gambler but I enjoy going to a casino every once in awhile. I always think if you get out of there not losing too much money you are a winner.

I'll be on the coast over July 4, in a house on the Magnolia River.  There is a unofficial friendly competition between some neighbors on the river over July 4, taking turns shooting off fireworks, mostly commercial quality.  Best show I've seen.
