The four TCU players to be arrested as part of the sting were senior linebacker Tanner Brock, senior defensive tackle D.J. Yendrey, offensive tackle Ty Horn, and senior safety Devin Johnson.

All four players have reportedly been dismissed from the team, and all but Horn were expected to start for TCU in 2012.

One the news tonight they report Tanner Brock is saying that they had a suprise drug test and would have been suprised if 20 people passed it.  That is if I heard correctly.

If I were a coach, frequent random drug tests would be at the top of my list to control this problem and with some stiff consequencies for those that fail it.

Wow! Is Coach Patterson asleep at the wheel or what? You mean not one single player told him there were problems on the team with drugs? I don't believe it. Is this willful neglect & ignorance so the coach can claim he did not know anything? I think the other shoe will drop, soon.

They did mention that a recruit said something about the problem and that may have been what led to the suprise drug test.

This kind of news only reminds me of Bama's team before CNS got here, drugs were pretty popular on the team just not too long ago, the selling of it and the usuage of it.  Sad

Back in the CPBB days, I imagine if he even suspected a player to be drinking, smoking, both of which were and are legal, he'd kick them off so quick their head would spin.(As he did with Joe)  Mike Shula just turned a blind eye to it all.
