It took 9 1/2 hours, but we made it home. Brutal drive in extremely heavy traffic. We became a parking lot about 5 or 6 times due to accidents. Never been so glad to be home in my life.

Back to work tomorrow. Will be very busy.  Cry

Hope everyone had a nice holiday.  2, glad your grandson came out mostly unscathed.  This incident may keep him from doing something stupid as a teen/adult.  Who knows?

I didn't shoot any fireworks and actually didn't even see any.  I heard a few, but never even went out.

Good morning folks.  I had an exciting day yesterday.  A local and I went riding 4 wheelers and wound up fishing for Red Salmon.  The ride was just about 35 miles. Long, VERY enjoyable, but tiring.  I ate lots of dust along the way... I didn't catch any fish but did miss a few.  My buddy did manage to catch one red salmon and four Dolly Varden.  Didn't get back to the hotel last night until just about midnight this morning. Fun times.  I'm hoping to get the chance to go out fishing for Halibut soon but no guarantees..  Still haven't seen any bears either...

Hope y'all are doing well this morning. I've got to go to Columbia today for a meeting. Not looking forward to getting back on the road again, plus, I have too much to do at my office. It's that time of year that brings about angst.   

But it's only 53 days away from kickoff, so I can handle it.

I prolly should go fishing.  But it's HOT here, and I doubt the fish are biting.  Instead I'll go to the gym and then have coffee with the old boys.  That's what it's come to.
