McCarron Says Saban Has Handcuffed OC's

I would also like to take this opportunity to blame Verne and Gary, the bumbling broadcasters.  I haven't figure out why yet, but give me a moment and I will come up with something.

If CBS knew how many viewers they cost the network I think CBS would do the right thing and fire them. CBS needs another Chris Economaki. He could always build a car race and a college football game. RTR!

Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton was also asked to respond to McCarron's comments in an interview on WJOX's Opening Drive on Wednesday morning. He didn't mince words.

"AJ McCarron, he need to be quiet," Tarkenton said. "He was so fortunate to play in that program. He's an average quarterback at best. He couldn't have played anywhere else but Alabama and to make any kind of comment is just disrespectful. He shouldn't have made it and he should keep his mouth shut and praise Saban and Alabama for the rest of his life."

I have no idea how good of a QB AJ will be at the next level, but I tend to agree with Fran about closing his pie hole.  And I am a huge AJ fan, by the way.

I, for one, was way too cocky last week, thinking Ole Miss would cave like they always do.  I did not have the proper attitude about the game, and if the player's had my same attitude then it was a contributing factor.  Attitudes are contagious.  If the players sensed all the cockiness emanating from the fanbase and took that same attitude, then we did indeed contribute to the loss.

MY brother, I must say I have high respect for you. you are a great friend whom I have never met but would love to have that honor someday. I think we should stop and think before we speak negative things about our alumni or compare them to others we know to be less than respectable. You know I love AJ and what he did but I pray when he looks in the mirror he would realize to himself than he spoke wrong. None of us are perfect, but let's lift our ex players and others up rather speak harshly about them. Do you agree? Always a fan and Roll Tide Roll! RTR!
