Of course it's true. The head coach determines/approves the game plan. The problem occurs when a coach wants a conservative offense and it proves too conservative.

Okay, have we blamed everybody now?  One at a time, people have singled out individuals who cost us the game: players, coach, staff...

I'd say we should blame the fans, but nobody has suggested that we fans did anything except support the team (well, some have).  I'm sure we also deserve blame, but just haven't figured out how we ruined the game.

MOVE ON, PEOPLE.  BLAMING ISN'T PRODUCTIVE.

I, for one, was way too cocky last week, thinking Ole Miss would cave like they always do.  I did not have the proper attitude about the game, and if the player's had my same attitude then it was a contributing factor.  Attitudes are contagious.  If the players sensed all the cockiness emanating from the fanbase and took that same attitude, then we did indeed contribute to the loss.

I know I played a part in it too, somehow. But that is the fifth Alabama-Ole Miss game I've been to, and we won the other 4.  Huh?

When you go, we win 80% of the time.  When you don't go, we win 85% of the time.  I think I see the problem here.

Now you're blaming the posters!!!!! Of course, I can see how Chechem might be at fault since he didn't make sure Jamos saw the refs before the game or halftime.

Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton was also asked to respond to McCarron's comments in an interview on WJOX's Opening Drive on Wednesday morning. He didn't mince words.

"AJ McCarron, he need to be quiet," Tarkenton said. "He was so fortunate to play in that program. He's an average quarterback at best. He couldn't have played anywhere else but Alabama and to make any kind of comment is just disrespectful. He shouldn't have made it and he should keep his mouth shut and praise Saban and Alabama for the rest of his life."

Hell, I forgot to mention that we've also blamed the turf and the weather.

Wow! I guess to say AJ is not going to be welcomed with open arms if he keeps talking is a for sure huh? I think this back biting is getting worse than a bunch Baptists at church which I am one. Why not support each other than trying to break down. We need to push forward and get wins not worry about a team that was better than us that one day. What one day out of 10 yrs. My, my. GO BAMA! Not real sure why AJ continues to make these types of comments. I know play calling was conservative early in the game but play calling is not why we lost the game either.   Undecided
