Bama was playing loose and hitting on all cylinders.  They grabbed the lead at the start and never trailed.  Aggies got manhandled.

Two of A&M's starters didn't play.  We looked good, not dominating, but A&M looked like the old Aggie team.

We shot the ball well. We were 45% from the field, 31% from 3 Pt, and 83% (20-24) from FT line. We played good defense causing A&M to shoot poorly. They are big and caused a lot of issues in the paint but we held our own. We had 4 guys score at least 16 points, Petty 18, Hall 17, Ingram 16 and Sexton 16.

A&M had a starting guard hurt and a forward suspended for the game. That's is part of the game. We have had Key out most of the year and he is not in playing condition yet. Norris is out for the year. It happens and you have to play through it.

This was our first win over an AP Top 5 team since 2004 when we beat #1 Stanford in route to the Elite 8. However, I think we had a very good will last year in the SEC Tournament when we soundly beat South Carolina when they were playing very well in route to the Final Four.
