It's pouring down rain here. Has been for a while. We are under a flash flood warning. These mountain streams can't hold any more rain and there's no relief in sight. Ugh!

Hope it's okay there.  That series of storms sat on us all day.  Tornado south of Jackson MS yesterday.
We had over 2" of rain, and much of that in one hour yesterday afternoon.  Also lots of lightning.  Not good.

Hunker down, buddy.
 Panic

Glad you got through it, Chech. Thankfully, we are on fairly high ground. Just saw on TWC where the streets flooded in Tuscaloosa.

Flooding all over the South yesterday.  I saw videos of flooding from New Orleans to Nashville.  Nasty storms.

I'll have to go a different route to work this morning. There is a creek that runs under one of the roads on my route, that floods and covers the road when we have heavy rain. Fun times!

Alternate plan:
Drive to the creek, take pics, send them to your office, then go home and watch Pebble Beach Golf.

Good morning folks.  LOTS of rain at our house yesterday.  My driveway took a beating.  Much more erosion and Mrs. Nalt won't be able to get her minivan out. I drive a truck with higher ground clearance so I'll be able to come and go. The driveway was bad when I got home yesterday afternoon.  It was worse this morning.  More rain coming today so who knows how bad it might get.  Stay safe over there 2.  Remember, turn around and don't drown.  Stay warm Chech.

I just got a robo-call from the school superintendent.  All Jackson county schools will be closed today due to flooding.

I paddled my way into work this morning.  The wind broke my umbrella about 3 seconds after getting out of the car.   Glad I get to park so close to the door (~400ft).

We've been under one tornado warning after another, but it now looks like the worst has passed. I know Spartanburg was hit by a tornado. Saw pics of the area near their mall.
