That's what I thought too.  Is the writer saying that it is literally impossible for Bama to win the NC this year?

Bama worst case: beats Auburn by only 1 point.

I'm not sure why 11-1 is Bama's best case scenario.  Going undefeated is difficult and there are a lot of question marks this year on offense, but there have been questions every year since 2011 and 11-1 has been our worst case with each of those losses being one or two plays turning out differently from a win.  I say 12-0 is best case and 11-1 is worst case.
