I'm jealous, Chief. How were you treated by the PSU fans?

Hard to post photos from a Navy Computer...will do that later.

A coworker and I (From Alabama) took the RV and picked up my other firends at the Airport in DC on thursday night.  First time I have every seen anybody picked up at the airport in an RV....was kinda funny.

We arrived at the FT Bellefonte Campground at 3 am on Friday.  My friend (The one that got the letter from Coach Saban) drove the whole way.  I had some health problems, so i had to tap into the Medicine in the Mason Jar.  We woke up around 10 for breakfast.

One of the Bama fans had never had Grits....WOW.

We partied friday and Saturday Night and Left on Sunday afternoon.

The fans were awesome...I even traded a #12 Alabama jersey for a #12 PSU jersey.  They habitually said roll tide and thanked us for the way they were treated in T-Town.

After the game they werent upset or anything.  There were a few bad eggs...but the other fans were quick to correct them.  The "white out" was innefective...looked like somebody spilled crimson kool-aid on the crowd.

During the game, the fans in front of us stated that this was the biggest away crowd that they have EVER seen.  At the inferno bar afterwards, one guy whispered "*&^3 the tide" into Jim Bunn's (hes an old TS member)ear...One of the PSU girls there almost kicked the guys ass.  These guys are all about ensuring that the rivalry remains one of great class.

Sorry about the grammar, spelling, and everything else.  Honestly I dont care.

Great story, Chief.  But how drunk were you to "trade a #12 Alabama jersey for a #12 PSU jersey"?  I hope they kicked in $100; otherwise you got taken.

Thanks for confirming that Penn State has classy fans.  I'm eager to see the pics.

I compare it to the squirrelly kids at school trying to "buddy up" with the captain of the football team. "Tell us about the trophy. Please, please... tell us about the trophy". Makes you always wonder how "gracious" they would be if they were a powerhouse.

Chechem...I probably have a half dozen of those Jerseys.  The PSU jersey that I got will always serve to remind me of hte excellent time that I had all weekend.

Found an image of the tee shirts, but can't quite read all of the JoPa one.  What's in the red and black ovals?

BTW, I knew the jersey trade was for a keepsake.  Just funning.

One side says Tuscaloosa 2010 and the other state college 2011.

As a football program I have more respect for,-- say Tennessee, than Penn St. PSU is known for hiring family member referees for cheating. Their strength of schedule through the years has been laughable, at best.  It shows how bad that we as a society have fallen, that ya'll are making a big deal out of someone finally being civil.
