Title: Behind The Book That Changed Urban Meyer And Led Him Back To Coaching

Meyer himself credits a good portion of this change to a book he read during that hiatus. LEAD ... For God's Sake! is a leadership book with Christian messages that examines the motivations leaders face in their positions. Unlike many self-help and leadership books, LEAD book is told as a parable, starting out with a fictional story.
Meyer is far from the only prominent sports figure to have read Gongwer's book. He said a variety of high-profile figures, from baseball's John Smoltz to Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, have since picked up his book -- "I don't even know how they get it," he says.
Gongwer also cited Lane Kiffin as someone he has met with on several occasions, starting back when Kiffin was at USC. The author said that while Kiffin continues to work through the process of identifying his motivations and aligning his life with his priorities, he is "a changed man" today.

I clinked on this post to make fun of Meyer and the book. However, it looks like a good book. I might have to do like SC and buy it.

SC have you had a chance to read any of the book? Would you recommend it? I have it on back order on Amazon.

I have only read the first chapter, but it seems like it is going to be good.  I bought it from amazon but I bought the kindle edition and am reading it on my ipad.  You can use the kindle PC app if you want to read a kindle edition on your PC.  Most of the time the kindle edition is cheaper, and you don't end up with stacks of books everywhere when you are done.

I got it in the mail today. Got a question. Did Urban while he was at Florida perceive his situation at Florida as between the "Hatchet and Money"? He had to pay the athletes or get rid of them? And did that change at Ohio State or did he assign that responsibility to someone else?
