Tide signee Trevor Lacey passes clearinghouse

Basketball star Trevor Lacey has passed the NCAA Clearinghouse and will enroll at the University of Alabama in the fall, according to his high school coach.

Butler's Jack Doss, who owns seven state championships and three with Lacey playing guard for the Rebels, confirmed what Lacey had said last month.

I have never felt so good about a returning Alabama BB team as this one and I've been following them since 1968. Returnees Releford, Greene, & Mitchell along with with new players like Lacey, Levi Randolph, 7' Moussa Gueye, 7'2" Engstrom, Nick Jacobs, & Rodney Cooper. Plus, returnees Charles Hankerson & Ben Eblen. To say the least, things are looking up.

With last year's very good team disappointingly not making the dance, I hope they play with the same hunger that we are expecting from the football team. No doubt, they have the talent.
