Hightower misses practice

Linebacker Dont'a Hightower was absent from practice Thursday afternoon. University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban is expected to address Hightower's absence at today's post-practice news conference.

Someone just phoned Finebaum and asked about a rumor that Hightower was injured and in St Vincent's Hospital in B'ham. Does anyone know anything about this?

Man, these injuries do not bode well for the season. Constant nagging injuries will catch up to us during the season. We need a couple of weeks of no bad news on the injury front.

You are right about that. Maybe lots of injuries mean everyone is practicing full blast-- looking for a silver lining.

Well I enjoyed reading this one. I do believe though that when you have all these big power monsters hitting each other you are going to break bones cause they can't take that kind of power, i.e. the bones. RTR!
