So much for damning evidence on the wire taps.  With so many hung juries it is an almost certainty that they bought a juror or two.

This decision has very little to do with the NCAA investigation of the barn. While the cast of characters may overlap, the issues did not pertain to Scam Newton investigation for pay to play and/or any of the other investigations against the barn.

I was hoping that pressure from this trial may get some of the defendents to start singing like canaries. That may be lost. But at the same time, you now have pissed off investigators, prosecutors, and FBI agents (from the prosecutin side) that may now be wanting revenge and will dump info over to the NCAA. My hope all along was that there would be pay for play stuff on tape in this investigation that would be made public after the trial through freedom of information act procedures. All is not lost,--this may be just the opening bell!
