Thanks Preacher.  I don't think Scott Huff has been officially announced as OL coach, which is probably why I missed it.  For my 2-cents, I think he is a significant upgrade at OL coach.  We certainly need that!

Did CDB hire a new OL coach?  If so, I missed that.  Anybody got a link?

The bleeding of players continues.  Sayin the latest to enter the portal.  This has gotten really, really bad. I don't think any team can take the kind of player losses we've had without being affected. Lots of schools will be after Sayin.

We are slowly bleeding players.  Today Proctor said he's going into the portal.  It's not a gushing wound yet but it's getting there.  This may hurt us next year depending on what DeBoer can bring in from the portal. He needs to get the defensive staff filled out. And the Leadership Council needs to get after these guys that have gone in the portal.

If guys just want more NIL $$$, not much you can do about that though.

ROLL TIDE indeed!!.  Don't know what to expect from Milroe.  Really hoping our D plays up to the Bama standard.  Fewer penalties would also be good. We'll see.

Thank's for the write-up coach.  Yes, OL is a mess and after three games not getting any better.  (You could say after 3-years...)  What can the coaches do that they haven't already done?  Or is the problem the coaches as much as the players?

Best comment I've read after USF game is that Bama "has lost it's soul." Gonna be tough to get better from here.

I'm glad CNS saw what we did in the TX game, and acted. Don't know what this means for Simpson.  The QB competition  isn't over so he needs to hang in there. But I agree, if Buchner holds on to the job, Simpson is probably gone to the portal -- maybe before the season is over.

As always, Coach, thanks for your game recap.  I agree with everything you said.  I was VERY, VERY wrong about this team being a good team.  I predicted 34-24 but had Bama winning.

Watching the game, I thought Bama looked poorly coached.  Very disappointed in our new DC and especially OC.  Play design and playcalling on O was elementary school level. What the heck??? D was playing well early in the game but then faltered as game went on.  Maybe TX adjusted?

All the coaches from CNS on down should be slapped. Or maybe they should be doing push-ups in practice.

I've seen enough of Milroe, last year and this, to conclude there is little upside to him at QB.  Like you said, one of the other QBs needs to step up in practice and take the job away from him.  If not, it's gonna be a long season.

I think Bama's D slows down their O enough to make a difference in the game. And Milroe's legs keep a couple of drives alive leading to points. UTX burns our D on a few explosive plays, but not enough to turn the game.

I hope Bama has a clear edge in time of possession.

NALT -- Bummer about the Spectrum-DIS feud.  This could go on a while. Both sides see this dispute as a direct threat to their biz models.

I read somewhere that Spectrum subs can get free trials, some as long as 3-mos, from HULU, FUBO, etc.  I'm not expert on these channels but it's worth checking out.  Meanwhile, there will be a replay (time TBA) on SEC Net.  Better late than never.
