Title: Bo Nix Says Refs Favor Alabama
Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 22, 2021, 08:09:04 PM
Typical Aubie, a whiner and a loser.

Quote
[“Just a few of those obviously controversial calls that were in that game, it raises some questions, for sure, I guess, unless you’re an Alabama fan,” he said. “That’s just part of the game. We’ve discussed it over and over and over. That’s not going to change, no matter what happens. It was a good game, for sure.”

He claims that anyone who is impartial sees it but neglects to realize that he isn't impartial, and neither are those who he discusses it with over and over.

It's akin to every SEC school swearing that Gary Danielson and other commentators are against their schools in game broadcasts.   In the end, fans are generally blind to impartiality, and that certainly includes Alabama fans.

The only impartiality that the CBS broadcast generally has, is that they talk up the underdog.   It's their job to make the game seem as competitive as possible.   BUT, CBS often doesn't choose the most competitive SEC game, just the one that will draw them the biggest numbers.  So it gets a little ridiculous at times.

The tard obviously wasn't watching the same game the rest of us watched. Our DBs were mugged all night. But what he is trying to accomplish, is to put that out there in hopes that the refs for the Iron Bowl see what he said, and make the effort to give the barn the calls. They get them at Jordan Hare anyway, so what the he!!?

Nix is an idiot.  But he knows what he is doing with those comments.  In the arKansas game against us, both teams had 5 penalties.  Those 5 penalties cost arKansas 20 yards while they cost Bama 45 yards.  This was a Bama home game which usually tends to get the better calls.  Obviously didn't happen this time.  But, I'm sure that Bo would counter by saying that there were MANY penalties against Bama that weren't called at all which would then give a little more credibility to his claims.  :eyeroll:

BTW, did I mention that Bo Nix is an idiot?

SEC has had poor officiating for years, so nobody on either team should be surprised when they screw up.

I was traveling on Sat and listened to the 2nd half on radio.  Finally got to watch a replay yesterday.  What struck me on the so-called 'controversial' calls was that the CBS rules analyst agreed with most of the on field calls & the reversals.

This is a physically tough Arky team.  Big & strong.  Bama did too many dumb things especially in the 2nd half.  Without those dumb plays, Bama would have been way ahead and the ref's calls wouldn't have been a focus.

#+ you so hit the nail on the head. If Bama would being stupid and finish they would win by a large margin. RTR!
