Behind another sterling effort from SEC Pitcher of the Year Jackie Traina, Alabama sent Michigan to the brink of elimination with Thursday's 4-1, NCAA Super Regional victory before a crowd of 2,475 at Rhoads Stadium. The Crimson Tide (54-7) has two chances to advance to the eight-team, WCWS in Oklahoma City.
