Practice Report: BCS Title Game Pre Christmas

This will likely be it for the practice reports prior to Christmas. Bama is expected to practice again on Friday before the players will be allowed to head home to see their families. The Tide has switched to full pads as it continues to prepare for its rematch with LSU in the BCS Championship Game. Because of cold weather, rain, and the fact that the game will be played inside, Bama has practiced in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.

No kidding. Me and all the coaches will be worried until they all report back safely.

Why?  You think they might get in some kinda trouble or something?  Most of you on this forum always excuse them when they do get into trouble anyway by saying, "they are just college kids having fun".

If any player is stupid enough to get into any kind of situation that puts him..and the team..in jeopardy, then we don't need him anyway.

I for one think CNS has got the team in a good frame of mind, motivated, and primed for the rematch..it has taken him some time, and we've lost some along the way, but  I do think we are a better team for it.

Actually I was more worried about them driving safely. There will be a lot of traffic this entire week. Some are traveling North with icey conditions. Most of them are 21 and younger. Really not that concerned about them getting in trouble.

I suppose I have just been caught up in all the bad karma going on in college FB these days..and am just put out with the stupid things stupid players do, with a NC, maybe a big NFL contract, etc. on the line.

I do hope and pray that our team, our staff, all crimsonredsports posters,indeed EVERYONE has a SAFE holiday.
