Syracuse fires Bernie Fine

Boeheim just doesn't sound credible.  At the press conference yesterday he denied hearing the tape of Bernie's wife.  Sure!  The dirt has spread across the coaching staff.

They better clean house. The stink is going to last long enough as it is. Syracuse needs to show they are serious and get rid of Boeheim too. No way he hasn't heard that tape.

No doubt that Boeheim has gone into a full court press in trying to protect himself, I think he referred to himself as anything happening under my watch. 

Yeah, I heard that.  I kept thinking of that quote from Switzer (re Penn State): "Everyone On That Staff Had To Have Known."

Seems like Boeheim is being REALLY arrogant about the whole thing, too, acting like he is untouchable. I think the 'Cuse needs to follow the lead of the PSU BOT and clean house, starting with the main man. I don't think its possible for the HC who had such a good friendship with his assistant, not to know SOMETHING about the situation, even if he didn't know all the details.
