Because Alabama lines up in these formations the vast majority of time, the loss of Williams was essentially viewed as the loss of multiple starters.

That's why Alabama's used a couple of different options to fill in for the senior defensive back, who missed last week's game against Florida Atlantic and will be out for the next few weeks with a broken foot.

I have to say our depth helps but if these guys had playing time behind them they would be really bad news. I hope Jarrick gets a fast healing. I just want to see some of that speed we are suppose to have. I have to say I do not know what is going on because the very position we were all concerned about all summer has went down another man. I guess with our talent and coaches it will work itself out. RTR!

I was real excited about Geno's upside when recruited and he looked to fit the part until the DUI last year. Seems to me he's been fighting his way out of the dog house ever since. This might be the opportunity he needs to regain the coaches trust. Here's hoping he makes  the most of it.
