Alabama collected a season-high tying seven walks and was also hit three separate times on the evening. Not to be overlooked were the 12 hits the Tide put together throughout the night. Alabama beat a good UAB (RPI 63) 7-2 team last night in Regions Park in B'ham. CMG used 6 pitchers, as he normally does in mid-week games, to save everyone for the weekend SEC series against #4 LSU.

Alabama goes to 15-12 on the year. The RPI is 16 and the SOS is 4.

This week we play a Thur-Fri-Sat series to give both teams Easter Sunday off. It is a home series at the Hoover Met.
