It's cold and the cramps hurt but just to be able to walk is a Blessing. Mrs Dottie ask this morning when is it gonna get cold all day I said it already is lol. RTR!

Good morning, CRS family.  

What a crazy, violent, dirty game last night in the Egg Bowl.  Not much class, but lots of effort and excitement.  I hate cowbells.  Miss State lost their QB, their poise, and the game: 31-28.

We're making a trek into Shenandoah Valley this morning.  It's a beautiful farming region just west of Shenandoah National Park.  Should be fun.  Too cold to hike in the park, so we'll do a car tour instead.

Most of our Virginia family is excited about the VT-UVA game tonight.  But it starts at 8PM ET!  Ugh.  We'll watch it, but no idea who will win.

A chili 30 degrees in Decatur this morning. After a quick trip to Montgomery to spend Thanksgiving with my wife's side of the family it is back to sports for me today.

Bama plays BYU at 1:30 CT. You can watch it on Facebook Live.

Pinson Valley (12-0 #2) comes to Decatur to face Austin (12-0 #1). We knocked Pinson out of the playoffs in this round last year. I am sure they would like to return the favor this year. My kids, both Austin grads, will be going to the game with me.

Mizzou at Arkansas is at 1:30 today on CBS.

My wife and two girls are Black Friday shopping so it is just me and the dogs. Happy Iron Bowl Eve everyone.

I have never used Facebook Live either. Hear is how I think it will work.

Go to RollTide.com, Basketball, Schedule. Once on the schedule for the BYU game click on "WATCH". It will take you to a Facebook page that will be streaming the game. You can watch on your phone or computer. If you have a streaming device on your TV you can click on the device in the upper right hand corner to switch the stream from your phone to TV.

I have made a dry run. I get to the Facebook page and it tells me the game does not start until 1:30. You may have you have a Facebook account to access the site.  I have an account so it is working for me. Worst case I can watch on my computer, best case on my TV.

Well good Friday morning. Glad to see everybody is still alive. I do hope you all have a great day. It is colder than a wel diggers ankles this morning here. It is suppose to warm up and oh yes, the chatter around here is at high pitch today. There is a lot of war buzzard believers this year such as they way they whipped Georgia they are going to do Alabama. RTR!

Hey everyone.  Beautiful day here too.  It was really cold this morning with a nice frost.  I managed to get the big oak tree cut down and then cut up for firewood.  The widow woman it belongs to has a brother that will use his splitter to split it and then will take it to a 92 y/o man that still burns wood for heat.  So happy that the kids and I were able to contribute to him this way.  Hopefully when I'm an old man and unable to do things for myself there will be some young fellow that will step up and help me...
