Good morning folks.  Cold here too Chech but I'm not going to be doing any yard work.  I am planning on cutting a dead tree down this Friday for a neighbor that is a widow.  She told me that her brother cuts firewood for a man that is in his 90's so I think I'll cut the tree up for him and let this lady's brother do the splitting... Glad you are back home for the holiday 2.  Enjoy making those wonderful memories.  Wear some gloves Chech so you don't get any blisters...

  I just enjoy staying busy I guess.  Other than Bama football there really isn't much on tv worth watching so I find things to occupy my mind and keep the kids busy...   The kids actually enjoy helping me when I cut trees...  Oh, and it really irritates the libtard tree huggers when I cut trees too...

Well now this sounds like a great idea. I have eaten a lot already. LOL, I'll be at Palisades Park in Oneonta Saturday at a dedication but they are sitting up and entertainment System so we can watch the game with a bunch of auburn fans. RTR!

Good morning, all. 

Man, it's cold up here in Virginia (32 today; high of just 45).  But seeing family is worthwhile. 

Yesterday we cleared some fence rows at a family farm near Palmyra, Virginia.  Lots of briars (greenbriar), poison ivy, cedar trees, small oaks, and vines.  It took a couple of hours to build a huge brush pile.  To windy to burn now, so my BIL will burn it next week.

This should kill you guys.  Last night LF made homemade buttermilk biscuits for supper.  Oh we had chicken, rice, and veggies too; but the biscuits were wonderful.  Had some Virginia blackberry jam with them for dessert too.  And unless someone raided the frig, I'll have some more for breakfast in a few minutes!!
