Looks like he got a one year separation package, still not as much as Tuberville's $6 mil, though.

That explains what all the grinning has been about.  Some of you may recall that Stewart was the WVU interum head coach when they "slipped up" and won a bowl game. This was after a disasterous "backyard brawl" that WVU lost to Pitt. If they had won they would have gone on to play for the NC against Oklahoma. Anyway, after the bowl victory, the WVU powers that be gave Stewart the head coaching job. The standing joke throughout his tenure has been about how drunk the Governor, athleic director, and WVU president must have been to give Stewart that job. No doubt they were swept up in the moment and it is STILL costing them. LOL
