I think CAJ does that on purpose to keep the score low and make sure there's not as many chances for the other team to score.


 
I understand that but you could also be passing up a chance to get a better shot later on in the clock if you start the action early.  It doesn't mean you have to take a quick shot.

Obviously last night this team showed a lot of "heart."  That's happened a few times this season.  Lots of non-starters got lots of playing time.  I hope that helps them in the remaining games.

Maybe this characteristic will continue in upcoming games.  Their other persona, which we saw against the Aubs, totally lacks heart!

Bama is 4-2 on the road in the SEC so far this season. I like our chances against teams that don't start with 'A'. I don't believe we play anymore 'A' teams. Things might just be looking up.

Sounds about right, a good strategy for a team without great shooters that relies on defense.  With too many possessions, the defense runs out of steam. 

(Same applies to football and running the hurry up offense when you have the #1 defense).
