Thursday PM report: 
I fished until after 9:30PM.  The big Brown Trout were slurping up flies at the surface, and it was fun catching them.  Great day!  I'm exhausted.

Chech, that GoPro has served you well. 

I couldn't get on yesterday because our internet was out at our office. A terrible storm came through the night before and apparently knocked out the power, and everything off line. But now I'm at my daughter's house in Virginia and all is well. A big eating day planned for today, so I'll be back dieting on Monday.

BTW, if you're ever traveling through Va.(Chech, you know what I mean), do the speed limit. They've got the sneakiest State Troopers I've ever seen. On several occasions, I passed  Troopers hiding in the trees, twice, they tagged cars that passed me.

Thanks, 2.  I'll keep just a bit slower than the fastest guys. 

The GoPro is EXCELLENT, but I must confess that the elk photos and moon were taken with my Panasonic telephoto.

That wading elk seems to be thinking the same thing I do when stepping into the river: 'How deep is it, and how slippery are those rocks?'

Wade fishing can be hazardous.  So far, so good.

Sad day here. We have a neighbor who is a friend and a great Alabama Fan. His son got killed and burned up in a car last night leaving 3 little children and a wife. The neighborhood is kind of in shock for a bit this morning. Father's Day tomorrow it will probably even be worse. Please remember these Alabama friends when you pray.
It is getting hot here already today. RTR!
