Woohoo what a blast. Even though day one had a lot of "lecture" time. It was still a blast. Very high quality instructors, including the doctor who wrote the book on Trauma care. The doctor who worte the book on Tactical EMS. A doctor who also responds with an FBI S.W.A.T., and a former " Special Forces Medic, who has been on many missions and raids " in country." ( This guy now works  for a company who designs and builds toys for Tactical Medic responses.  ( He was also a sniper on his team.)
   Got to go to an "unfamiliar building and clear some rooms using the Air Soft guns ( looks an feel like a real gun, shoots plastic pellets that will leave a welp on your butt).
  The fx rib gave me enough problems to remind me that it's still there, but what's life without an extra lil' challenge thrown in?
    Cant wait for tomorrow!
   But the real reason I wrote this was to say:

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE PRAYERS!!!! I WOULD NOT BE DOING THIS IF IT WERE NOT FOR YOU!!!

Our SWAT and the county's SRT, both stay pretty active. felony warrants, Meth Labs...and yeah we have had a barricaded subject or two around here. Last one tried to take over a walk in medical clinic.

It will be while before I make it on the SWAT team. This is just the first step.
